Yeah, same here. I prefer the old logo. But I like the picture a lot, for something so airbrushed.

An Album Megamix with the first 6 tracks is out.

One Shot and Wordshaker sound amazing in studio version, which I was really wondering if they would, but wow - awesome. Ego is a brilliant track by the sounds of it too. Here Standing seems a little like Forever Is Over to me and No One is nice, but not amazing too.

My only wish is that the other 6 tracks are more a slight bit more poppy.

Apparently, Forever is Over is one of the weakest tracks. The best one is 'Wordshaker' and both 'One Shot' and 'Ego' have attitude.

There are many mid-tempo songs with one big ballad.

One song really sounds like Jordin Sparks/Chris Brown - No Air.

    My thoughts on the sampler....

    - Forever is Over: Doesn't remind me as much as When Love Takes Over Now but still doesn't stand out as anything. I love the first verse but then the rest isn't as good and the chorus annoys me.
    - Here Standing: Starts OK but a bit generic then becomes Jordin Sparks' 'No Air'!!! It sounds exactly like it. I've got No Air in my head!
    - Wordshaker: Reminds me a bit of Work but sounds quite good. Adds a bit of attitude to them I guess.
    - No One: Boring...the second person singing sounds bad.
    - One Shot: I actually really like the sound of this one. Doesn't sound like them...it needs to be released. Yes, I'm feeling. Favourite from this play.
    - Ego: I didn't realise One Shot had ended and this had started! It's a very similar style. Not sure if it may be annoying though.

    Rank of them...

    1. One Shot
    2. Wordshaker
    3. Ego
    4. Here Standing
    5. Forever is Over
    6. No One

Is that the order of the songs? I only listened once. Needs a few more i reckon.

The top bit is in song order. Bottom bit is just my preference ranking.

Actually sounds like a very good album. I'm impressed!

Although I am intrigued to know where it'll chart, as based on 'Forever Is Over' not getting that much airplay, I can't see it doing that well.

It all seems so rushed. I get that the record company are trying to capitalize on Girls Aloud's absence but the album still could have waited until early next year. The poor girls must be absolutely exhausted promoting record after record with no break.
