    Default Pussycat Dolls Present: The Search For The Next Dolls : Girlicious!

     

    That's right!

    The Search For The Next Doll returns with Cycle 2 in the US and premieres on

    February 18th 2008!

    Season 2: Girlicious
    It has been confirmed that there will be a new season of Pussycat Dolls Presents and this time it's to find a whole new Girl Group. This show will go on for longer with more contestants. Girlicious will end up with three members, the girls should be at least 18-28 as many fans want younger members. Girlicious will become a pop/RnB girl group and very much similar to The Pussycat Dolls. Melissa Reyes, Melissa Smith and Chelsea Korka apparently will have some role in the show but won't be part of the groupand a special guest (apparently a male member of a group) will step in to provide the girls advices about how to get along in a group.
    The second season will begin on Monday February 18, 2008 at 9/8c and then show encore episodes on Wednesday's at 9/8c.

    As it is a different band that will be called Girlicious.

    In the first season of Pussycat Dolls Present: The Search for the Next Doll, Asia Nitollano was the last woman standing. Unfortunately for the Dolls, she didn't become a permanent member of the group as she chose to pursue a solo career instead. How's that career going, Asia? Pussycat Dolls' founder Robin Antin is hoping to have better luck in the upcoming second season, Pussycat Dolls Present: Girlicious. This season, Robin will not just look for one group member, but form an entirely new group called, you guessed it, Girlicious. The show premieres February 18 on the CW afterGossip Girl, at 9pm ET. Today, the CW announced the girls who will be competing for a spot in the group. Read on to learn more about this season's divas!

    Megan is 18-years-old from Sunset, Louisiana. She scores points for loving Jack Johnson and Gavin DeGraw but loses points for citing Britney Spears as one of her favorite artists.

    18-year-old Jenna hails from Thousand Oaks, California and is inspired by Christina Aguilera and Beyonce. Hopefully, she can sing like them, too!

    Cassandra, 23, looks like a fierce competitor. An Illinois native, her favorite singer is Beth Hart.

    Charlotte is 20-years-old from Washington D.C. and likes classic artists such as Billie Holiday.

    25-year-old Carrie loves '80s glam rock and is from Illinois.

    Jamie is a sexy girl from Miami, Florida. The 21-year-old can't get enough of Chris Brown.

    Oregon resident Kristin is 24-years-old. She's got great taste in men, naming Justin Timberlake as her favorite musical act.

    22-year-old Keisha is in it to win it. She hails from North Hollywood, California and likens herself to Beyonce and Aaliyah.

    19-year-old Ilisa is from West Palm Beach, Florida and says she loves the Backstreet Boys. With so many amazing musical acts to choose from, I'm not sure the Backstreet Boys would make the top of my list, but to each her own!

    Chrystina is a 20-year-old San Diego girl who loves Mariah Carey.

    18-year-old Nichole listens to Jill Scot and is from Houston, Texas.

    Charlye is also from Texas, loves Beyonce, and is 19-years-old.

    Alexis seems to be the girl-next-door of the group. She's 21-years-old and is a country girl who loves Martina McBride.

    Natalie is 19-years-old from Diamond Bar, California. She loves Janet Jackson and Jennifer Lopez.

    Last but not least is Tiffanie, 18-years-old, and a lover of ... what a surprise ... Beyonce!
