Two down. Three to go. Lol. I think that we may have to wait for a spokeperson like Cheryl's to make it more believeable.
Nadine's Doing It Too!!!!
British supergroup Girls Aloud are definitely not breaking up. They recently signed a deal to release THREE more albums.
However, a few of the Girls are going to venture outside the safety of Aloud and attempt to go solo.
Chreryl Cole was the first to announce her ambitions to work on solo material.
Now, sources reveal exclusively to PerezHilton.com that Nadine Coyle - the "voice" of the group - is also gonna start on a solo album too!
"It's definitely happening," an insider tells us. "Nadine and her team have already been contacting producers and songwriters."
And, we're told, a lot of the recording will take place in Los Angeles, where Coyle has a home and lives a good amount of the time.
Yay!!!!!!!!
Nadine can truly sing and we think she has huge international potential!!!!
Can't wait!

Nadine is the most deserving of a solo album, along with Nicola, in my opinion - but whilst GA are still going strong it just feels so wrong.
I can just see them liking it and not wanting to go back to GA where it's not all about them ALL the time ... I really hope I am wrong, but in the history of pop bands this makes it look like it's on the way to the end. I just would rather them do other things than music, have a year off that.
Sarah do acting, Nicola do make-up, Cheryl do X Factor, Kim do musicals and Nadine focus on her businesses etc ... meh. Of course they can do what they want, I just thought the break was to have a break from music, promo and that kind of stuff ... as going solo will involve a lot more promo than GA releases too.
Also, pop bands dont have the best track record for coming back after breaks, and throwing in 2 (at least) members doing a solo album doesn't put my mind at ease at all.
Also, this Singles Collection Box also seems kinda "final" to me too, something they should have saved until the end of GA ... then again I did think that about Dreams That Glitter, and I was wrong there too.
They could easily prove us wrong yet, so until that time I won't keep on moaning about it. If the girls are happy, we should be too I guess as they have given a lot to us these last 7 years...
Thanks to Anouk for the Signature and Avatar.
I wouldn't worry too much yet. Lol.

hahaha more cheryl vs nadine. either way, let them do their thing, as long as they get back together...
I think they will prove us wrong, there have been numerous things they have done and people have thought 'this is it!' .. The Greatest Hits for example.
I'm looking forward to the solo era I think it will be good to hear but will make me even more excited for a comeback compared to if they had a new album this autumn.
I'm personally looking forward to Nadines solo effort!
Well i tinktl depend on how successful the solo albums are...lik say if cheryl or nadine go international and have hits in america then lik they might not wanna come back 2 girls aloud...but theyll probs prove me wrong...Hopefully anyway
They'd both need a translator if they tried to do US promo. After so many years of listening to them speak, I can always understand Cheryl and usually understand Nadine, but there are a lot of people in the US who aren't very familiar with accents, especially harsh, grating ones like theirs. When Americans think of British accents, they think of ones like Hugh Grant's, or Cat Deeley's. Sarah's about the only one that really fits the stereotypical English accent, though Nicola and Kim are just fine, too. The other two, though? That'd cause concern for any US record company.
Nadine has confirmed on 'The Late Late Show' tonight that she has a solo album coming out on EMI Labels.

i wonder if she and cheryl will have to compete...that would be so weird.
Aww why can't Nicola do a solo album?? Or like Kim and Nicola should do one together lol. They could be called Kicola! Or Nimberley =P
Through wind and rain she got here . . .
Oooh I hope Cheryl and Nadine don't realease on the same day. That would be beyond awful. I will obviously buy both.
P.S Is there a youtube clip anywhere ??

She confirmed it. Hence the man persisting she was releasing it and her avoiding the question. Similar her to being slightly hesitant on responding about Cheryl's solo deal too. They're not gonna outright confirm anything.
Anyway, I'm glad it seems she's breaking away from Fascination considering the tacky and shoddy stuff they've been doing to GA recently.
Lady GaGa - "The Monster Ball Tour" - 7th March - Sheffield Arena
Rihanna - "Rated R Tour" - 13th May - Sheffield Arena
Leona Lewis - "Echo Tour" - 28th May - Sheffield Arena
