Thread: Why are people constantly slagging off Kimba?

Seriously the other thread which has thankfully been closed now, about her not being able to sing and being boring. OMG I'm so sick of people slagging her off. YES we all have our own opinions then fine, if you don't like her FINE but why are peole coming on these boards to say so??? I'm not keen on Sarah but i don't go into the Sarah thread to slag her off!
And the thing about her voice is such old news now. Admittedly she doesn't have the strongest voice but she is can still sing. They all can, and they all have differant styles of vocals to compliment each other. The group would be pretty boring with 5 'Nadine voices'. Kimba can sing, listen to her on Jump. Listen to her on Can't Speak French, Listen to her fantastic 'rap' on Grafitti My Soul. Listen to her 'girly' voice on Love Machine.I love that she can do deep and also is great at the 'talky' bits like GMS and on tour when she did Push It with Cheryl. I think her and Cheryl have very similar voices but no one slags Chezza off!
And she was fantastic in Passions. She may not be Mariah Carey or Christina (none of the girls are) but she can sing!
And just because she isn't pictured falling out of nightclubs drunk, having high profile marriage problems or dating American actors doesn't make her boring. Maybe in the world of celebrity it appears boring but she really is one of the nicest people in pop and is great to her fans, of which she has many.

Sorry but it's quite sad you have made this thread, when I could easily go make one on Nicola as she constantly gets slagged off on this forum, whether it be because of her paleness, or because she is "ugly" (which she clearly isnt, she's stunning), but I dont make a thread as it's people's opinions, and I firstly think you should accept that.

Secondly, Kimberley doesnt have the best voice, and is very weak compared to the other girls and it does surprise me that Nicola doesnt get more lines on songs than Kimberley, as Nicola has got one of the strongest voices in the band, after Nadine in my opinion.

Yes Kimberley sounded good in Passions, but also in Passions you could see her voice break and at times it did seem like she was pushing the voice out as it was a struggle.

Also I think the only reason why Kimberley has so many fans is because of the Chim thing she has with Cheryl. Dont get me wrong I like Kimberley, but she is my least favourite member, and weakest singer.

You're opinion is fine, at least its constructive! I was just annoyed somebody made a thread about her being boring. I don't think its sad i made a thread to stick up for her, i'm a fan after all.
Oh and i wasn't aware people posted threads slagging off Nicola? thats disgusting. Nobody should be slagging off the girls on their own fansite/forums whatever. Posted an opinion about an outfit or certain performance is fine but a full on slating of one member is quite frankly disgusting. I don't dislike any of the girsl, and the ones i'm not so keen on i just don't post at all.
I have to disagre about Chim though, I think Kimba has plenty of fans on her own merits as all the girls do.

1) Kim is not a good singer
2) Chezza is an idiot to take Ashley back and she have to take some advices from a stylist...or shoot the one that she already have.
3) Nicola should dye her hair as it was during the Chemistry era 'cos now she looks cheap.
4) Nadine is becoming a complete LA clone, and she have to stop smoking because her voice is starting to suffer
5) Sarah, oh well Sarah should change her stylist too and maybe act a little bit less sluty.

Not sure if you're being sarcastic or not but i never said you can't ay those things. I just don't understand how someon can start a thread and simply slag one girl off. I wasn't aware it apparently happens to all the girls as i never really look at their threads.

You are just giving people who dislike Kimberley another thread to insult her in and say even more stuff that they wouldn't have done without this thread. I will admit I do think it is pathetic what you have done. Everytime people insult Nicola I don't go making a new thread to rant about it as that would get boring, just as this is. You just need to get over the fact not everyone likes Kimberley (I really do like her and think she is awesome too), but not everyone does. I don't see any other fans as crazy as this over the board going nuts everytime someone says something bad about their fave member unless it is something really really bad - if they have something bad to say, then don't stoop down to their level.

If you let people have their opinions and don't jump on them or make new threads everytime then you will also look a better person and not "overly obsessed" and "boring" as you are becoming because by now the amount of the time you have repeated yourself and said the same thing it is crazy, just give it a bit of a rest.
