I know its horrible now and the raods are so dangerous (well those that aren;t main roads) i went out today for the first time since wednesday and i was so scared that i was gonna fall and break a bone.

We went to get a bit of food shopping and the Tesco car park was awful, hardly any safe pathways. There is meant to be more snow tonight and tomorrow.

Its so icy now! I havent been able to go out cos my mum wont drive in it but its ben really bad here in Surrey. Although am hoping for more snow this weekend so my School is Closed on Monday! x x

the weekend before christmas the whole east coast of the US got hit with a huge snow storm. it SUCKED. i hate snow it's cold, wet, and you can't go anywhere. the snow here didn't go away until the day after christmas when it rained heavily.

thanks, i love scenes of snow and think it looks amazing when its a proper wintery scene.

Part of me wants more snow as the time off work is nice but i have been bored as i;'ve been home alone for 3 days this week.

I have fallen on my arse today

I fell on my ass twice in the past few weeks, both times in the middle of a parking lot. It's so embarrising, cus you see people stop and go 'is she okay?'. And I'm like 'get up, do not show your butt hurts like hell, just smile, just keep walking'

I've not fallen on my arse at all, I have this tecnique when walking on snow/ice.

If you kinda walk with your feet sliding outwards a bit, you know when its slippy and you'll be able to adjust accordingly.

i haven't fallen but still there is time so will remember that technique. lol

its even now snowing here. damn

It was supposed to snow here last night/today, no sign of it yet!

I had an accident when it snowed in London last month. On 7th January, I visited my local Argos store to purchase a swivel chair, a TV bench and a CD stand in preparation for my bedroom move at my care home. I was carrying one of the items (it was quite heavy) on the way to the car park when suddenly, I slipped on an icy pavement and hurt my right shin very badly, resulting in a great big bruise. The support staff who took me to Argos had to drive around and pick me up from the spot where I fell. I couldn't go to the gym for about two weeks. My shin still hurts a bit when I lean on it and it affects my workout because it means I cannot do push-ups. There may still be bruising on the inside as suggested by my Key Worker Siobhan and she slipped about three or four times on the same day as I did. She even had to accompany me to the supermarket the following day.
