Default Review the Last Film You Saw

watched any good movies lately you're dying to talk about? discuss or list them here

i've been on a Ginger Rogers kick of late for some odd reason:
    - Vivacious Lady= a very young James Stewart plays the love interest. this movie has one of the best girl fights i have ever seen (it's on youtube)

    - Bachelor Mother
    - Major and the Minor
    - Finishing School
    - Monkey Business

    - Roxie Hart= hysterical and silly. definitely suggest watching this movie if you are a fan of "Chicago" with Catherine Zeta-Jones and Rene Zellweger.

    - Stage Door= also stars Katherine Hepburn. the sarcastic bantering b/t Hepburn and Rogers is hysterical. the comebacks and comments in the movie are some of the best i have ever heard.

    Other movies i have watched:
    - Julie and Julia= i bow down to Meryl Streep she is amazing.

    -Guess Who's Coming to Dinner
    - How to Marry a Millionaire
    - The Goods
    - Land of The Lost

i'm an old movie junkie. most of the time all i watch are classic movies (from the '20s-the early '60s) but i enjoy a new movie here and there

I watched The Crow 2 online after watching the first one on DVD. Tbh I wasn't all that impressed. I read there are more in the series, but I doubt I'll be watching them.

    Up in the Air
Quite funny and a different story to the whole standard rom-com thing. Best bit is the man on the plane with the tash. I was well amused.

Nice short review for you there lol

Well this should be fun... This is the last film I watched...

    Midgets Vs Mascots
Hilariously funny, you really must see this. Highlights include midgets attempting to rape other midgets, getting a glimpse of Gary Colemans MASSIVE knob , boderline incest and a stoned cowboy getting mashed up by a bull. Best line; "You know how I know you're gay? 'Cus I ****ing hate you!"

The Tooth Fairy - I never liked 'The Rock' til I watched the 'Game Plan', but he does comedy very well. And it's sweet how he belittles himself in these kind of movies so that his daughter can see his films

To Sir With Love - an old film, but still a firm favourite.

Love that song. it is a film i have seen numerous times.

We also watched "Stardust" at the weekend, which is one of my all time favourites, love the whole fairytale kind of side of it all. Michelle Pfieffer is great as the witch, and Clare Danes makes a great star.

Watched "Rainman" for the first time on Sunday night. I have had the dvd for a while and we finally got round to watching it. Inspirational film, Dustin Hoffman made the film with his outstanding acting as the autistic brother of Tom Cruise.

Rain Man is an excellent film... an excellent film. Got it in my DVD collection.

Watched the first two Candyman films. Must say I prefer the second. Tony Todd can whisper in my ear any day!

Walk Hard- i can see this movie over and over again and cry laughing every time. the whole movie from beginning to end is just wrong. the whole thing leaves you saying "what the f**K"! John C.Rielly was brilliant as the main character and Jenna Fischer is love, she was the best part of the whole movie. two jokes are played over and over but they never get old they just get better and more ridiculous.

District 9- was in no way a fan of this movie. i was bored watching it.

I finally went to see this last night and i loved the film but think i would have prefered to see it in 2D rather than 3D. I agree it did make my eyes hurt. Some parts of it were too jumpy and when there was a character close to the screen they were too close. It was weird. Really good film though, the action and the romance mix made for a good mix.

The Princess and the Frog---took my 7 year old nephew to see t, was nice to have an excuse to see a Disney film at the cinema, not that i need one. Its not the best that Disney has done, but it was a nice classic kind of story about love. It had a selection of different stories in it, and was enjoyable

Drop Dead Fred. An old kids' film, but Rik Mayall still makes me laugh
