House of Bones. Not a bad movie, i've seen worse. Probably one of those 'watch once' kinda films
Valentine's Day
and it was not as good as it was made out to be
i found it very boring and would only give it a 5 out of 10 .
found it really long winded and were happy when it finally ended. If you have seen Love Actually don't go and watch this film because we rocked with the comedy and story lines and if you haven't seen Love Actually it will be cheaper to buy it on DVD than to waste your time watching this film. There was so much money spent on getting famous faces in this film that there wasn't any left over for the script it was a bore from the beginning.
I almost watched that cos I read that Cheryl went to see it, but then I read the reviews so I didn't bother. Not my cup of tea, but then neither was Love Actually.
Star Trek Nemesis - good film, and my second favourite in the Star Trek big screen collection. They probably show it on SKY too often though.
Triangle. Kind of a weird film, not sure I completely understood it, would probably have to watch again. Kinda got a feeling it's been done before though..![]()
I went to see Valentines Day last night with my mum, and i enjoyed it. It wasn't fantastic but it was by no means as rubbish as some people have made t. It was exactly the kind of film expected it to be. I like Love Actually so knew it would be a similar kind of story to that--mini stories that some how link together.
Was nice to actually go the cinema to see a chick flick as it doesn't happen very happen these days
Red Mist/Freak Dog - Probably not everyone's cup of tea, but I like it. And Arielle Kebbel is fit...![]()
The 6th Man - the only film to make me laugh and cry, love it!
I just saw Ella Enchanted on tv. You just gotta love Anne Hathaway![]()
A thousand miles between us, God knows I had to go
But distance can be overcome in the beating of a heart
Just put your arms around yourself
Believe I'm not that far
I like Anne Hathaway--she was good in Valentines Day too.
Alice In Wonderland (2010) - not my cup of tea![]()
You still should. Everyone will have different opinions![]()
I cannot wait to watch Alice...it looks fabulous. I need a Johnny Depp fix too!
Shutter Island- crap. i was so bored watching this in the theaters and i'm totally pissed i spent my money seeing this. i figured out Leo's issue the first 5 minutes of the movie.
Alice in Wonderland- fantastic! i loved sitting through this movie. Anne Hathaway in a Tim Burton movie was interesting, just shows she can be quite versitile. Helena Bonham Carter as the Red Queen was incredible this woman can truly do anything and just adapt and play the character to perfection. i love her as an actress. the story was great and visually the movie is stunning.
Swing Time- imo the best of Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers' movies. the songs are so catchy and the story isn't annoying like their other movies. looks wise and vocally Ginger Rogers was never better. the movie has it's silly moments that make you laugh.
"Oh boy i can't tell you how sad i feel. if tonight it's just another kink in your steel"
Shutter Island - was good
Another Cinderella Story
A thousand miles between us, God knows I had to go

Just put your arms around yourself

Alice in Wonderland--was disapointed. Have left a message in the topic for it rather than repeat it here
