    Default cameras?

I'm from the US and I'm going to a couple dates, I was wondering about the cameras that they let in. this is the camera I plan on taking in:

it's fairly big. there's no way to be discreet about it either. do you think I could get away with it? here I definitely couldn't bring a camera like that into an arena. I dunno how strict they are in the UK though. if not, I guess I'll have to just rely on my tiny point and shoot...

I'm not from the UK so I can't answer you on that, but you reminded me of something. We went to see NSYNC back in their heyday and a girl somehow snuck a camera with a bigger telephoto than that in, and she didn't even have a press pass. It was a remarkable feat, so best of luck to you!

They probably wouldn't let you take it in, but you might be able to sneak it in.

They probably wouldnt allow that as is has a large lense and they sometimes walk around the arena...they do in Manchester from what I remember.

This woman got hers taken off her because it looked lik something used for high quality shots she may sell on or someting.

However, they usually let little digital cameras in. I took mine last year and it was at Sheffield Arena.

i contacted the Bham NIA last night about cameras and whether they were allowed, this was there reply!

Thank you for your e-mail Usually the only cameras allowed are small 35mm instamatics and digitals. Video recording equipment and professional cameras will be confiscated.

thanks for all the replies guys. I'm quite terrified of authority figures so I'm not gonna try the sneaking it in thing...
